Would it be a book or a webtoon it’s always nice to see an adaptation to it. However, the drama version can become a complete disaster. Or we can hope that it will become even better than the original version.
I found myself more disappointed in the dramas that I first read webtoons of Sweet Home became a sweet disaster how to not follow the original work. See You in My 19th Life turned to let’s forget this thing even happened.
As another webtoon that I’m reading is said to become a drama (The Remarried Empress), let’s see my list of webtoons I would like to see on screen.

Synopsis: When a down-on-her-luck student runs out of money - and hope - it’s time for the devil to make his entrance and give her an offer she can’t refuse. But the devil has problems of his own. He’s a cog in Satan’s corporate ladder, who’s quickly losing credibility because that same desperate girl isn’t ready to part with her soul willingly. Now she’s working at his coffee shop while he tries to convince her that she can have it all. And the cost? Merely her mortal soul… (Webtoon)
With a great cast, this has the potential to become someone’s favourite drama.
It is a fun fantasy drama that is in the modern world, so would not be that hard to make it. For this drama, a lot of people would find the characters amusing. The human is sassy while the devil is trying to find a way to get her soul.
The storyline is interesting too, and would leave a lot of people wanting to see the next episode. I wanted to skip to the next chapter while I was reading it.
The characters are easy to fall in love with. I read it quite a while ago but the emotions: laughing at what they said, the sadness, and bitterness. The story still stayed with me.

Synopsis: Do you have a dream you’ve given up on? Was it because you hit a wall? Was it because you’ve come to terms with reality? Or have you never given up? Fresh out of university, Jua starts freelancing for a TV show as a newbie writer. After her first TV show canned, she finds a strange bookstore and is reminded of her dream as a writer. Will she resume pursuing her dream? Or is her dream too far-fetched? (Webtoon)
Rather than a full 16-episode drama, I imagine this is more like a short web drama. It has very cosy elements and reminders to seek your dream which might inspire some people.
This would be perfect for people who enjoy healing dramas. Rather than it being exciting, I believe, the story could inspire a lot of people.
Of course, there are still entertaining parts. Who wouldn’t want to meet a man with a bear’s mask in their bookstore?

Synopsis: “A love life? Give me a break.” A complete non-believer when it comes to romance, Eunho is focused on climbing the ladder at work. Smart with excellent social skills to boot, both her bosses and clients love her. But when a new hire suddenly appears in front of her and an old first love starts to shake things up again, she can’t help but waver. (Webtoon)
This would be easier to make in the sense that it’s a casual rom-com with chaebol and a strong female lead character. I could already see it having the same vibes as a Business Proposal.
There is nowhere you can go wrong with it and people will have their sweet office romance on their screen. (People aka me)
Some characters even in the early episodes already have such strong growth. There are also some friendships and the second lead couple that would be perfect for a TV screen.

Synopsis: Beautiful and intelligent, Somyung Gil has tirelessly strived to fulfil her mother’s vision of the perfect daughter. However, when her less-than-perfect younger brother is tragically found drowned in a river, doubts plague Somyung’s heart. She begins to suspect that their mother might be responsible for the unspeakable act. From then on, her paramount goal becomes escaping her mother’s grasp, while all her mother wants is for Somyung to experience the perfect life she herself has denied. Will Somyung ever truly find her freedom? (Webtoon)
Compared to the other ones this webtoon is darker in theme. It talks about abuse, and murder but would be such a good thriller, mystery drama.
For this to be satisfying it needs to end first but it has the power to become a very popular Kdrama. Maybe, even giving, a Strangers From Hell vibe but with less cannibalism.
The first thing that draws you in is the mystery part: did the mother actually kill her brother?
But as we go on you will be rooting for Somyung to get out. To later question if our main character is sane herself.

Synopsis: Born into a bloodline of witches, Max is forced into a life on the run from the witch hunters. But when she unknowingly finds a way to use her magic, her life changes into something she could have never imagined. (Webtoon)
This is the only webtoon that I have not finished reading. I remember finding the story interesting but there were so many hiatuses that I forgot a lot of things. (May need to binge-read it)
However, the storyline was quite interesting and got a bit of an edgy fantasy feeling. I have a feeling if they made it into drama and picked a good actress it would draw a lot of attention.
I would say it would be similar to The Judge From Hell. Not with the plot but with the strong female character that the actress would bring to life. Also if I remember right, the male lead is quite sweet and less annoying than Han Da On was.
