I have been scrolling through the dramas I have watched and it's so interesting to see such well-known actors in the most random dramas. Or when I just started getting into them and now looking back is a "Ariana, what are you doing here" moment.
As much as it is fun to look at what was back then, you will notice the basic theme of the post: "I barely remember anything". It was just very long ago...

He has been in so many things from films to dramas and now he's such a well-known person. With Parasite being so known too, he's also not only the face that kdrama watchers would know.
I stumbled upon Ho Goo's Love because my friend, who showed me this world of dramas, suggested it. At that point, I didn't know what to watch after Pinocchio, so why not trust her judgment?
Even at the time, when I was still new to kdramas I didn't find Ho Goo's Love that great. My rating says 7/10, and thinking I barely remember what happened there, the rating must be right.
For a while Choi Woo Shik for me was a loser who never dated before and fell in love with a national athlete. Comparing it to his newest project Melo Movie, I don't think anything changed...
To comment about the drama from what I remember, the female lead is pregnant or already had a baby and Choi Woo Shik's character helped her with that. If you liked Coffee Prince for its 'you might be a man but I love you' second couple is doing exactly this.

This came as a surprise because even when I was looking through actors I thought my first drama with Jin Ki Joo was Come and Hug Me. She made the biggest impact on me with that drama, and now I try to watch whatever she is in.
However, if we delete her presence from Splash Splash Love, I've seen another short drama with her - Wednesday 3.30 pm. Both of these dramas were very sweet and I recommend watching them if you haven't yet! (Both got a 10 from past me)
I always see her as a fun and light-hearted character. Every drama has a serious moment or two, but at least I know that Jin Ki Joo will bring some happiness.
I think the last sentence perfectly shows her character in the ongoing drama Undercover High School too.

I have seen him in Drama Special: Avici first but this feels so niche, so let's consider The Flatterer (also quite niche) the first time I saw him.
Kwak Dong Yeon always plays a character that will become a scene stealer or someone, who you will end up rooting for. This is how I felt after watching The Flatterer.
I don't remember anything from the drama but according to me, it was amusing that I gave it a 10/10. It was nonsensical but maybe that's why it was so fun.
It's amazing to see how much he grew into a bigger character and got into the dramas that now everyone loves. Let's not act like he wasn't our favourite character in Vincenzo or that his cameo in It's Okay to Not Be Okay didn't steal the show.
The last work I saw him in was Queen of Tears and I have noticed that not much changed. He picks such interesting characters, a bit dumb but later on you end up falling for them.
It works for him, it works for me.

We can't hide the fact that Rachel was not the IT girl even if she was a bit mean at the time. I say a bit because I don't remember what she did, so she didn't do anything. Maybe, apart from being jealous.
I never actually followed what Kim Ji Won was doing, just ended up watching the dramas with her and it was hit or miss really. Her romance in Descendants of the Sun was great, maybe better than the main couple. However, her character in Fight My Way was too much for me.
She brings diverse characters, and even if they're not my favourites you can see her hard work and I appreciate her so much.
Her last work Queen of Tears was somewhat reminisced of Rachel from The Heirs, mostly because she was rich and seemed a bit mean. Other than that, I'm always happy to meet a different Kim Ji Won with her new work.

I might have hated the drama I saw him in (1/10 says pretty much everything) but that doesn't mean he didn't catch my eye with his looks.
His characters are more mysterious type, and you only know that he has a heartbreaking history hidden. He could play a good villain too, but I would want to see him as a lead in a romance drama.
It still feels like he hasn't reached his peak, and I'm not sure what is stopping it. Of course, dramas like Sweet Stranger and Me or Born Again don't help as they're awful but he has the potential to go beyond the second male lead.
According to mydramalist he has an upcoming drama in 2026, so maybe that will be a year where everyone falls in love with him.
His past work Tomorrow almost done that but Lee Soo Hyuk didn't have that many scenes in it. Plus other stories kind of overshadowed him.
He had a bit of a role in Player 2 but we need more!

She was mean and sometimes could be annoying in Doctors but at the end of the day, she made me want to watch more of her dramas.
I wouldn't be surprised if that's how I came to watch Cheese In the Trap and I watched Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo just for her.
It's always so nice to see her in the new project and watch if she will be another mean character or a softie like Bok Joo.
The last time I watched her drama was Sh**ting Stars and I don't remember anything from it, so I can't comment on her recent roles.
Lee Sung Kyung is said to be in an upcoming drama The Good Man, so rather than watching her previous work, I'll wait for that.
