Lean into the Romantic Feelings

As Valentine's Day is already here I wanted to look back at last year's couples. Who had the best kiss, the best chemistry?

For me, the biggest part of last year was Lovely Runner, so I have to mention the couple. They're cute and very charming together. The chemistry that the actors bring is insane. To the point where people still ship them together. There is no way I'm leaving them out!

Cutest moment: So manyyy, but I have to say the air kiss scene. Only Sung Jae and his friend are there to witness this embarrassment but how cute it was!!

I was happy to end the year with the When the Phone Rings couple. It started pretty toxic and was bad with communication but by the end; they fixed it. I'm kind of acting like the last two episodes didn't exist in the drama but even then as a couple, they were great. Encouraging each other, and loving one another a lot to the point where they would die rather than live from one another. Still a bit toxic, isn't it?

Cutest moment: When she wants to turn herself in and he doesn't let her. Instead, he says how selfish he is because he wants her by his side.

Doctor Slump has not made that strong impression on me but when I think about it, they were so cute together. It was a pretty well-done rival-to-lovers trope. They ended up leaning on each other in the hardest times and it was nice to see such a healthy relationship. Both of them were very mature and always talked things out.

Cutest moment: When they were students, there was always bickering between them. Drinking instant coffee without actually making it is crazy...

I have to give it to this kiss. It has everything you need: passion, yearning, the backstory. If you have the chance please watch the behind-the-scenes where Byeon Woo Seok wanted to go even harder! The man knows what we want.

I feel like I still am talking about the best couples but they were on the list not because of cute moments. We're back with When The Phone Rings. I can't say I have one specific scene that I liked, they go hard every time.

This couple has probably more edits than the leads of the drama, and it is Family By Choice. I'm not mad because I'm also their shipper. I wish they had more time together and acted as a couple because I know we were all waiting for that. Maybe if Hae Jun acts less oblivious towards his feelings...

Cutest moment: Not from when they were a couple but it was always funny to me how he thought Park Dal liked San Ha and always tried to set them up. Then the camera points to Park Dal's face when she's almost crying because she would rather be with Hae Jun.

Just because I didn't put the Queen of Tears couple on the list doesn't mean I dislike them... But the second lead was just too funny. They started with a fake relationship but became so wholesome in the end. You can feel Hong Soo Cheol's love towards his wife and it was nice to see Da Hye finding a safe space.

Cutest moment: The way Hong Soo Cheol tried to contact Da Hye through a phone game. Who would have thought married couples could communicate like that?

This is such an underrated couple that there is no picture of two of them. The Midnight Studio did not make me care about the main couple but it was nice to see a ghost fall in love with a human.

Cutest moment: The ghost goes into other people's bodies to have a date with his human girlfriend. Not so fun for the random strangers who got their bodies taken but who cares about them?

To be honest you can ship Jeong Nyeon with every character. Want enemies to lovers? Jeong Nyeon and Yeong Seo. Friends to lovers? Jeong Nyeon and Ju Ran (which I surprisingly went with). Mentor with a pupil? Jeong Nyeon and Ok Gyeong.

Any trope you want, Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born is here! Just make it in your head because nothing comes to fruition.

Cutest moment: When Ju Ran reveals why she can't act with Jeong Nyeon. Also known as the scene where we were waiting for the ship to sail...

This category was created for Hae Jo and Jae Mi (Mr. Plankton). I have difficult feelings with them. On one hand, they look so good together and the chemistry between them, wow. On the other hand, there is left fiancee and death awaiting.

I wish they could have found each other sooner, again...

Cutest moment: Any moment where they spend time together enjoying life.

While the other couple created the category, I'm not sure this couple should even be here. They have been good together at one point but the miscommunication drove them apart. Of course, there is cheating and death and all other things...

Cutest moment: This is a very hard one because I barely could find a nice picture with them... I liked how they treated the child and each other even if it was pretend on the husband's part.
