We Need a Second Season?

Straightforwardly, I'm not here to discuss whether some kdramas needed a second season or not. Everyone has different opinions about it, and even if some are not that necessary, you get more closure.

Today, I will look into kdramas, which even if they had a perfect conclusion, and I have no idea what the second season would look like, I still want it. I'm here to give the writers some inspiration, and they should look back at their past work.

Vote in the poll and let me know if you agree with me!

A short drama that is more of an ad than anything else, but it was still fun. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, to see all these actors together in one mini-series.

The female lead is going through different dates, different stories with each male lead, and they have their own aura. A boy next door, a rich guy, a spy or whatever Ji Chang Wook was.

What do you think?

  • Sounds great!

  • Don't need this in my life

  • I'll think about it...

  • I haven't even watched this one

A second season could go two ways. The first would involve a younger generation of actors and an actress going through seven dates, such as Song Kang in his demon or Love Alarm era.

The second option would be to bring back all the past actors and have another few-minute drama/ad with them. Everyone's fee probably costs way more than it did back then, but it would be iconic.

A drama where the characters are in a manhwa? There is so much to do in this world, as we already saw!

The premise of the drama is that characters find out about themselves. They become self-aware, and their reactions to the setting. Will they go back to acting like nothing happened, or will they fight the system?

I feel like the ending has left a lot of questions for many viewers. What happened to some of the characters? Well, it's time to find out!

What do you think?

  • I wish!

  • Not for me...

  • If they make a good plot??

  • I haven't seen the drama

The second season would bring back the same characters in a different manhwa. This time we're going to university! (Lovely Runner all over again?)

Rowoon and Hyeyoon's characters got a nice ending. I'm not spoiling anything if you haven't watched it.

Personally, I would go with the secondary characters from the drama, the second male-lead becoming a better man, or completely disappearing. Maybe use Dan Oh's friend as the female lead?

As I said, there is a lot to explore in this world, even if we still have main characters in there. Maybe they'll find the writer and ending all the novels is the way to go?

The drama follows an artist who becomes a gallery director and a worker there, who is a fan of an idol. This drama is perfect, without a few flaws that we don't talk about.

It also had a very good conclusion, so why would I need a second season?

What do you think?

  • Yes yes yes!!

  • We don't need it

  • Maybe not 16 episodes but like one?

  • I should watch this first

Park Min Young and Kim Jae Wook had such an amazing chemistry that I still think about them from time to time...

They were playful with each other, had great communication and always supported one another. It's not that hard to think of another plot for them and get that season two!

I probably have more on the list of 'dramas that should have another season just because I love the chemistry' but I'll keep them to myself, for now.

A story about overcoming actual demons and some past traumas. It is great if you like horror stories, and if exorcism is scary for you. This drama is good not only with the actors but also the plot.

I don't remember much from the drama, just the way it made me feel, and I know it's good.

So, I'm not so sure if I want season two because I want to get the same tingly, horror feeling back, when I'm wondering what is going to happen next. Or I actually want to see them together back again with a slightly different story.

What do you think?

  • I would watch it

  • Let's just leave it at that

  • Sounds kind of good

  • I haven't seen it

If I were the one making a second season, it would again include more stories of helping people, but a new character would show up who is there for the main storyline.

It's time to solve more demon problems with a new person, but the same squad. After everyone is healed, ruining it with another season does sound nice.
