The nominee list is out, and as last year, I want to get my own predictions out. Who's going to win the award? We'll get to know on May 8th!
I'll mostly comment on K-drama categories because that is the thing that I watched the most. I barely know any films or variety shows (anymore), but I might still try to guess some of them because it's fun. There is a full list of the nominees on Soompi if you want to have a look.
Remember that this is just my opinion. Everyone worked hard to get where they are, and I'm happy that they received the award, even if I'm wrong.

"Our Unwritten Seoul"
"The Dream Life of Mr. Kim"
"You and Everything Else"
"Low Life"
"Bon Appétit, Your Majesty"
I would be happy if either "You and Everything Else" or "Our Unwritten Seoul" wins. They gave such memorable storylines about mental health, friendship and different perspectives.
The only reason why I'm picking "Our Unwritten Seoul" is because it feels like it had more buzz than "You and Everything Else", plus all the characters there were more likeable, which attracts audiences.
"The Dream Life of Mr. Kim" had an interesting storyline, which focused on a man in his 50s and his office life. It is a well-received drama, but there was no talk about it, and it was quickly forgotten.
I haven't seen the last two dramas, so I can't comment on them. "Bon Appétit, Your Majesty" was insanely popular last year, but it feels like fully romantic dramas rarely get to be the best drama, though I might be wrong.
WINNER: "You and Everything Else"

Park Shin Woo ("Our Unwritten Seoul")
Woo Min Ho ("Made in Korea")
Yoo Young Eun ("Can This Love Be Translated?")
Jo Yeong Min ("You and Everything Else")
Jo Hyun Tack ("The Dream Life of Mr. Kim")
This is a hard one because all the dramas had great visuals, and all were directed pretty well.
I may have some beef with "Can This Love Be Translated", but I have to admit that it was filmed very well. The cinematography and the way they portrayed the female lead's trauma were very creative.
While I was watching the drama, it made me think about shots that were interesting to watch and appreciate them more.
The others have a big chance to win too, but "Made in Korea" can be a bit confusing at times. And "The Dream Life of Mr. Kim" didn't reach the same 'wow' feeling from me as the other three ("Our Unwritten Seoul", "You and Everything Else", "Can This Love Be Translated").
WINNER: Park Shin Woo "Our Unwritten Seoul"

Kwon Jong Kwan ("The Price of Confession")
Song Hye Jin ("You and Everything Else")
Lee Kang ("Our Unwritten Seoul")
Lee Seon ("To My Beloved Thief")
Chu Song Yeon ("The Art of Sarah")
"You and Everything" wants to have this spot. The characters were written and executed so well, but I keep thinking about the latter part of the drama. When they're at the workplace meeting again after college.
There was a need for something different, and I still yearn whenever my thoughts go back to the drama.
If "The Art of Sarah" was nominated for the best director, I would put it as a winner, but I don't think it would win the best screenplay. It is a very nice drama, but some parts didn't connect viewers to the character, and didn't keep up with the mystery aspect well.
On the other hand, "The Price of Confession" always made viewers wonder what was coming next. Always ending with cliffhangers, but I'm not sure if it's enough to pull through as the best screenplay.
"Our Unwritten Seoul" characters felt very well-rounded, and there was visible character growth. The storyline was also easy to follow and makes you root for the characters, who end up in these real situations.
Of course, there is a chance that "To My Beloved Thief" will take the win, but I haven't watched it or heard much about it.
WINNER: Song Hye Jin "You and Everything Else"

Kang Seung Won ("The Seasons" - music)
Kim Nam Sik ("Low Life" - VFX)
Kim Tae Sung ("Made in Korea" - cinematography)
Eom Seong Tak ("You and Everything Else" - cinematography)
Yoon Jin Hee ("Crime Scene Zero" - art direction)
If by cinematography you mean Woo Do Hwan and Hyun Bin in "Made in Korea", it wins...
I haven't seen "The Seasons", but it has a strong chance of winning. Lee Young Ji, Park Bo Gum, and 10cm were there, and I believe they might have a good taste in music.
I can't comment much about "Crime Scene Zero" or "Low Life" as I haven't seen anything from them. I tried to find some clips and see what they were about, but nothing caught my eye.
So let's go with my even more biased opinion than ever.
WINNER: Kang Seung Won "The Seasons"

Ryu Seung Ryong ("The Dream Life of Mr. Kim")
Park Jinyoung ("Our Unwritten Seoul")
Lee Junho ("Typhoon Family")
Ji Sung ("The Judge Returns")
Hyun Bin ("Made in Korea")
I might be very off with this, but I don't feel like any of these roles impressed me that much. They all did a terrific job in portraying their characters, but it was something I've seen them do before.
It was interesting to watch Hyun Bin on "Made in Korea", as you can see a physical change in him, and he carried the whole drama on his back.
There is always something to look forward to in Ji Sung's performance, but I don't think "The Judge Returns" was his drama. I couldn't get past 6 episodes, and I don't think he was that believable in his role.
WINNER: Hyun Bin "Made in Korea"

Kim Go Eun ("You and Everything Else")
Park Bo Young ("Our Unwritten Seoul")
Park Ji Hyun ("You and Everything Else")
Shin Hae Sun ("The Art of Sarah")
Lim Yoona ("Bon Appétit, Your Majesty")
You know the drama and acting were so good that both actresses from "You and Everything Else" got nominated. They had insane chemistry together and played off one another perfectly, so it's hard not to choose them.
Park Bo Young did amazingly acting as two sisters, and each of them had something different that was interesting to watch.
But in my heart, Shin Hae Sun wins. Playing a con artist who changes her life. It showed different colours of her, and I loved seeing it.
WINNER: Park Bo Young "Our Unwritten Seoul"

Kim Gun Woo ("You and Everything Else")
Yoo Seung Mok ("The Dream Life of Mr. Kim")
Yoo Jae Myung ("Love Me")
Jang Seung Jo ("As You Stood By")
Jin Sun Kyu ("Aema")
It was really interesting to see Kim Gun Woo in "You and Everything Else", as the last time I've seen him was in "The Glory". He played such a different character and did a really good job in both of them.
Yoo Seung Mok had great comedic timing with the lead, Ryu Seung Ryong, even when they were talking about some more serious stuff. Similarly, Jin Sun Kyu was a scumbag producer in "Aema" and did well.
However, it was interesting to see how Jang Seung Jo portrays this nice husband on the outside, but is very abusive towards his wife, and later on changes his role in the drama.
WINNER: Yoo Seung Mok "The Dream Life of Mr. Kim"

Myung Se Bin ("The Dream Life of Mr. Kim")
Won Mi Kyung ("Our Unwritten Seoul")
Lee Yi Dam ("The Art of Sarah")
Lim Soo Jung ("Low Life")
Ha Yoon Kyung ("Undercover Miss Hong")
Bok Hui was the most memorable for me, out of all these nominees. She was funny, strong and had her own character, which Ha Yoon Kyung portrayed really well.
Other nominees don't feel that strong like Lee Yi Dam from "The Art of Sarah"; she was there in the last two episodes, had a strong finale, but that's about it. We see more of Won Mi Kyung in "Our Unwritten Seoul". She has her own heartbreaking storyline, but it doesn't stand out for me that much.
WINNER: Lim Soo Jung "Low Life"

Kim Jin Wook ("Low Life")
Bae Na Ra ("Weak Hero Class 2")
Lee Chae Min ("Bon Appétit, Your Majesty")
Jung Jun Won ("Resident Playbook")
Hong Min Ki ("To My Beloved Thief")
Bae Na Ra would have been the top choice for me, but definitely not for his role in "Weak Hero Class 2". I remember who he was there, but he seems much more memorable in his short appearance in "The Manipulated" or even "Would You Marry Me?".
Whoever or for whatever someone was nominated, we all know Lee Chae Min will win because he was the craze when "Bon Appétit, Your Majesty" was airing.
WINNER: Lee Chae Min"Bon Appétit, Your Majesty"

Kim Min ("Low Life")
Bang Hyo Rin ("Aema") fl
Shin Sia ("Resident Playbook")
Jeon So Young ("Honour") child
Choi Ji Su ("Undercover Miss Hong")
This one is a bit harder to choose than the previous one.
I'm picking Choi Ji Su because not only was she good as No Ra, but she also had so much charm. Maybe I feel this way because the drama is still very fresh in my mind.
Shin Sia was great in "Resident Playbook", but there are so many good characters in the drama that she didn't stand out a lot to me. While Bang Hyo Rin played the lead in "Aema" and did a good job, there is still someone else I'm focusing on and not her.
WINNER: Bang Hyo Rin "Aema"

Kim Yeon Koung
Seol In Ah
Lee Soo Ji
Jang Do Yeon
Hong Jin Kyung
Seol In Ah entertains me in her dramas, so I wanted to choose her, but Jang Do Yeon is just the queen of entertainers. Watching her interviews, her awkwardness at times seems funny, and she knows how to make people more comfortable around her.
WINNER: Lee Soo Ji

"The Final Semester"
"Good News"
"The World of Love"
"No Other Choice"
"The King's Warden"
That's the only movie I've heard of, so I just wanted to make my correctly guessed rate higher...
WINNER: "No Other Choice"

Go Ah Sung ("Pavane")
Mun Ka Young ("Once We Were Us")
Son Ye Jin ("No Other Choice")
Lee Hye Young ("The Old Woman With The Knife")
Han Ye Ri ("Spring Night")
I recently rewatched "Crash Landing on You", so it's no surprise I'm rooting for her.
WINNER: Mun Ka Young "Once We Were Us"

Moon Sang Min ("Pavane")
Park Ji Hoon ("The King's Warden")
Ahn Hyo Seop ("Omniscient Reader")
Yoo Lee Ha ("The Final Semester")
Cho You Hyun ("3570")
Again, I saw a lot of people speaking about the film and Park Ji Hoon's acting, what he did to become his character.
It is very cool that included theatre and musicals this year, but obviously, I haven't seen it.
WINNER: Park Ji Hoon "The King's Warden"

love you for making these posts, and for adding the winners afterwards!! very good for those who don't follow news outlets, like me hahah
