Another month full of dramas! How would you rate February compared to January?
I feel like I had so many things to watch and somewhere in there was good stuff that I will keep dear to my heart. Of course, not every drama is like that, so I'm here to review dramas I watched in February.

First impression: I haven't seen a medical drama in a while, it seems exciting.
Last impression: Easy and binge-able to watch...
I get why a lot of people enjoyed the drama. It's very easy to watch for a medical drama and doesn't need much thinking.
However, sometimes it felt like they tried to be the next Dr. Romantic. Baek Gang Hyeok (main character) is the only doctor who can do something and wants to save the patients.
In Dr. Romantic, it was understandable because it was set in a hospital where nobody wanted to work and it was in the middle of nowhere.
The Trauma Code is set in a great university hospital, they have a lot of staff members. So why do doctors who are supposed to be the heads of their departments suddenly fall over and don't know what to do?
I did enjoy the cases and how Gang Hyeok saved people's lives but apart from that everything else lacked a lot. The drama has only 8 episodes, and I don't want to be too harsh but there is definitely a need for more (and not because I loved this drama).
The characters are somewhat interesting but we barely even get a chance to get to know them. There is nothing outside of the hospital for them waiting, and there are moments where some kind of connection happens but we barely get to see that as it is interrupted by a new patient.
Also, am I the only one who didn't get the whole "We're losing money" plot? I will agree that I don't know how hospitals in S. Korea work, so I needed more context. Why does admitting more patients mean less money? Don't you have to pay for a hospital in Korea?
7/10

First impression: Sounds like a cute drama, not many expectations
Last impression: A lot of conflicted feelings...
Let's start that this is a web drama, easily found on YouTube and very short. From the premise, it sounded like a cute romance drama, and the first few episodes delivered exactly that.
Some of it was confusing, not going to lie. The editing can be a bit weird sometimes. There were points where I wasn't sure if they were showing what was going to happen in the episode later or what was happening right now.
But that aside I thought the main characters looked cute together and I was rooting for them, until the point, where the female lead got super jealous.
I do get it that their relationship was not completely out and she can be sensitive but not to the point where she harasses her closest friend.
Even by the end of the drama, I still had a bad taste in my mouth because of the female lead. Nothing with the friend got solved and that little clip at the end didn't help either.
Anyway, I did have quite an okayish time watching the whole drama happen. I wished it was more like the first few episodes. The acting is quite nice, especially Choi Kyung Hoon and I look forward to seeing more of them in other dramas.
7.5/10

First impression: A short drama? A must-watch.
Last impression: What a way to make you crave chocolate and not be able to eat what they have...
It's a Valentine's Day special, so only two episodes that are an hour long, all about chocolate and newfound friendships.
What I always look for in short dramas is some kind of structure. Most of the time the screenwriter/director knows that they don't have much time, so how the story will fit into a few hours is very important.
I believe, this drama did it wonderfully. We have Seul Gi whose coworkers hate her and her extreme passion to do the thing she loves. There is also a lonely chocolate maker that brings comfort to others.
This was a very cosy and in some ways healing watch. I wanted to see how the pop-up store turned out but my biggest disappointment is that we only heard about how great it was. They worked so hard for this, so I was mad not getting to see how their efforts turned out.
However, I did enjoy the characters and their conflict. It was realistic and just showed how communicating helps everyone.
8/10

First impression: Two great actors coming together a must-watch!
Last impression: Cute but so boring...
This is probably a very unpopular opinion but I disliked the drama. I couldn't see any chemistry in the leads and the headhunting career is not interesting to watch.
Kang Ji Yun (female lead) is a strong character with good development, so even if you find her annoying, at first, she gets better.
However, Yoo Eun Ho (male lead) is already perfect in all the ways and is very two-dimensional. The only purpose in his life is to make Ji Yun happy even if he has a child that doesn't do much.
Talking about kids, they were probably the best thing in the drama, and I don't say that often.
The only reason why I kept watching was because nothing else was on.
Someone described this drama as the music you hear in cafes: nothing bad but nothing memorable. I have to agree with it wholeheartedly.
It was a nice drama to have in the background but there was nothing that good to get invested in.
5/10

First impression: Very excited about all the actors, it seems fun.
Last impression: I want to savour everything I have watched.
The start of the drama is silly but cute. Ko Gyeom (male lead) is chasing his crush while also trying to become an actor, with a running joke that he's that bad.
I also found myself relating to Kim Mu Bi (female lead), not in the way her story went but as a character, who is more closed off. So it was amusing to watch those two getting together through their hardships.
The storyline held out pretty well throughout the 10 episodes. I saw that a few people disliked the second lead couple but for me, it gave more Love, Actually vibes. Considering that I didn't like the film, I enjoyed the second couple quite a lot.
They were very realistic and not perfect. As one of the characters says: for that time they were great but you can't feel the same love.
I also have to add that other relationships - Ko Gyeom and his brother, Kim Mu Bi and her mum, Ko Gyeom and the movie director. They felt so fun and real, giving the main leads to be a bit different, letting us see another side of them.
I cried and laughed together with the characters. Maybe because I could find something relatable in all the characters I enjoyed it way more than others did.
