In 2020, I compiled a list of all the dramas I had watched. It was nice to see people who watched similar dramas to me, or dramas that were not as popular.

So after years, I decided to do the same thing: Korean dramas I had seen from 2020 to the present. The list has gotten a bit longer, but this includes everything that wasn't in the previous one.

What is your score?

Talking about that year feels insane, so many things happened and nothing at all. First of all, it was lockdown time and I was doing nothing apart from finishing my first year at university... Crazy times.

I feel like the K-dramas of the time kind of show off that craziness. We have "Psychopath Diary", which somehow did not end as BL. "Crash Landing On You" aired and became everyone's favourite drama for some time, and gave us Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin as a couple!

Also, "Hospital Playlist" aired that year... It doesn't seem like it was that long ago.

There are just tons of dramas I was interested in and enjoyed thoroughly. However, it also gave us dramas like "Born Again" or "Alice", which were absolutely diabolical. Incest, reincarnations and falling in love with murderers? A full spectrum.

Also, a year when I dropped tons of dramas (13). I'll usually stick to the drama till the end, because otherwise it feels like a waste of time, so you can imagine this was very hard for me. It's probably my highest drop rate, but I watched even more dramas, so in comparison, it's not that bad.

Looking at the titles of the dramas I dropped, I don't regret any of them...

While I vividly remember watching dramas in 2020, I have a very blank page in 2021. I see the dramas, I remember something about them, but it's either: "wow, this came in 2021???", how good it was, or I don't remember them at all.

Maybe it was because some of the dramas were so traumatic that I don't remember what happened in between? Loved "Navillera", "Vincenzo", "Move To Heaven", and so many more.

Fun fact: my Tumblr header is from "Youth of May", the last time I changed it was probably back in 2021.

This year was also not as unhinged as 2020. The dramas were more like fillers between the good ones, and the worst ones were just bad in a boring way.

Still, a lot of dramas dropped, but mostly because they were just a snooze fest. I'm most surprised about "Now We're Breaking Up", which I watched 9 episodes of! At this point, usually, it's 'no dropping zone'.

I remember having a lot of thoughts and talks that this year is the golden year of kdramas. It was fun, it was interesting and right up my alley. Remember when my friend and I did a podcast for like two months?

It gave us "My Liberation Notes", which is still in my TOP 5 dramas. "Twenty Five Twenty One", which traumatised us all. Great times...

I also finished three dramas in a row that were given a 10! "Little Women", "Yonder", and "May It Please The Court" shout out to being great and emotional.

This year also has mediocre dramas, offensive dramas, but which year doesn't? "Sh**ting Stars" is probably the drama that everyone wants to forget because of their mention of Africa as a poor, big country.

Are we surprised? Not really, but I wish it hadn't happened.

Compared to the last two years, the dropped dramas are not that bad. 7 of them, and they were just a bit too much for my taste. Sorry, Seo In Guk and "Cafe Minamdang", my mum liked you!

It was a horrible year for me and dramas, as I had a slump and nothing seemed interesting.

Looking back at dramas, I'm surprised I didn't rate them 10, for example, "The Kidnapping Day", as far as I remember, it was great!

But even here I could find dramas to love: "Moving", which I'm still waiting for a sequel; "Daily Dose of Sunshine" gave me a lot of tears and worthwhile lessons.

As in every year, there are also disappointments, and I still hold grudges for "See You In My 19th Life". It's amazing how you have a great material before you and decide to destroy it, but we also had this in 2025 and many other times.

I dropped 10 dramas, and at the right time, I would love to give a second chance to "Call It Love". It was a good start, but I quickly got out of the mood and dropped it.

I'm just happy I passed that year.

This year went by without notice.

It brought us some good dramas, but I also watched a lot that had already aired years ago, like "38 Task Force". Every year, I try to do that: I catch up with a popular drama that I missed back then.

Not saying this was popular, but has many great actors, and it was alright.

2024 also brought me "Lovely Runner", another drama that is just amazing and went to my TOP5. It will be something I'll rewatch, but I'll skip the poop jokes every time.

It's just not funny, please STOP!

I was bored a lot last year, so I watched quite a lot of stuff. The list could have been longer, but I also procrastinate watching K-dramas... Literally nothing is safe.

Also, not many were dropped! which is nice. Only 5, but I can't remember anything about them. It was that bad, I guess.

In the challenge list, you will find dramas that I watched in 2025, but for the comments and statistics, you'll have to wait a bit more!
