Sometimes, these posts of what to watch next are a mystery to me, too. While I was looking at what's up in November, I saw "Nice To Not Meet You" on the list. I wrote about it last month, but apparently it will air on November 3rd.

I try to get the information right, but sometimes things just happen... However, November seems a lot more exciting than October was, with or without "Nice To Not Meet You".

Do you have a drama you're excited about?

Starring: Lee Jae Wook, Choi Sung Eun, Kim Gun Woo

Synopsis: Baek Do Ha and Baek Do Yeong are twin brothers, but have lived apart since their parents' divorce when they were young. Every summer, Baek Do Ha comes to meet his twin. During this time, they spend time together with the next-door neighbour Song Ha Gyeong. Now, as adults, Baek Do Ha works as a talented architect, and Song Ha Gyeong works as an architectural public official. Because of an incident of 2 years ago, Song Ha Gyeong and the twin brothers face irreversible changes in their lives. (Mydramalist)

I'm very excited to see these actors together, especially Kim Gun Woo. It will be interesting to see him play a different role from the bully in "The Glory" or his role in "You and Everything Else".

It's also not the first time that director Min Yeon Hong has worked with Lee Jae Wook; they met filming "The Impossible Heir". My only hope is that this drama is better than that one. He also directed "Missing: The Other Side" and "Miss Ma, Nemesis", which gave me a lot of hope that this would be good, but the genre is not mystery - it's comedy and romance.

On the other hand, screenwriter Jun Yoo Ri has already worked in the romance genre. She has written "Radio Romance", which was quite popular at the time, and "Kiss Sixth Sense".

It'll be interesting to see how this duo will make the drama.

The Manipulated

Starring: Ji Chang Wook, Doh Kyung Soo, Lee Kwang Soo, Jo Yoon Soo, Kim Jong Soo

Synopsis: Mild-mannered Tae Jung is wrongfully imprisoned for a heinous crime. He soon discovers that a mysterious figure named Yo Han orchestrated his downfall. Fueled by vengeance, Tae Jung sets out to make Yo Han pay. (Hulu)

Airs: November 5th

Starring: Kim You Jung, Kim Young Dae, Kim Do Hoon, Lee Yeol Eum

Synopsis: Baek A Jin grew up enduring domestic violence, forcing her to hide her emotions and survive by reading and manipulating others. Outwardly, she appears generous and kind, but when her ambitions are threatened, her darker nature emerges. With beauty and talent, she rises to become a top actress. By her side is Yun Jun Seo, her lifelong confidant and the only person she trusts. Yet the man who once supported her becomes the one who brings about her downfall. (Mydramalist)

This is an adaptation from the webtoon "Dear X" by Ban Jin Un. Sadly, I haven't read it, but it does have an interesting premise.

I would like to see Baek A Jin as a morally grey character. It's been a long time since we've had a female lead like that. The romance in this isn't a priority for me, though I know a lot of people have different opinions on Kim Young Dae and his acting.

He mastered the acting of a cold male lead, so if he stays that way, it will be fine.

The director worked on well-known and loved dramas such as "Mr Sunshine", "Goblin", "Descendants of the Sun", and more. We should have a bit of trust in his vision and decisions for this drama.

I hope this sentence will not come to bite me later.

There is already a lot of buzz about the drama, the actors and more, and maybe it will become a drama where we can all watch it. It's been a long time since my timeline watched something together.

Peach Trap

Starring: Jung Su Bin, Cha Se Jin

Synopsis: Yoo Do Ha is in the biggest crisis of his life, and three men approach him! He gets caught up in a storm of love signals with each of the three men. A whirlwind of fate that centres around Do Ha. Who will the final love stick be directed towards?! A cheerful and lively romantic comedy depicting the process of finding a boyfriend. (Mydramalist)

Airs: November 6th

ree

Starring: Jeon So Nee, Lee You Mi, Jang Seung Jo, Lee Moo Saeng

Synopsis: Eun Su works in sales at a luxury goods retailer in a high-end department store. She has carried the weight of a deep-seated trauma since childhood. Her friend, Hui Su, shares a similar burden. Hui Su was once a promising children's book writer, but her career has long since stalled. Now, she is trapped in a nightmarish existence due to the violent abuse of her husband, Jin Pyo. One day, Eun Su makes the life-altering decision to save her friend by ending Jin Pyo's life. Together, the two women devise a plan to kill him. (Mydramalist)

This drama is adapted from the novel "Naomi and Kanako" by Okuda Hideo.

The whole premise sounds so good, and Lee Jung Rim is the director of the drama. She did "Revenant" and "V.I.P" (drama), so I trust her to create an eerie atmosphere and tell an amazing story with the help of the actors.

The cast seems great, but I have one question: why does Jang Seung Jo have to be scum again??

Let him be a loving family man or something with the face of his! I want to root for him, but obviously not in this drama.

No Next Life

Starring: Kim Hee Sun, Han Hye Jin, Jin Seo Yun, Yoon Park, Jang In Sub

Synopsis: A story of three female friends in their 40s. Cho Na Jeong used to be a TV home shopping host and earned hundreds of millions of won for her work. Now, she is a full-time housewife and mother to two sons. Koo Ju Yeong works as a planning manager at an art centre which displays high-quality performances. She endures pain while trying to have a baby with her asexual husband. Lee Il Ri is single and works as a deputy editor-in-chief for a fashion magazine. She still holds a fantasy about marriage, a dream that she hasn't yet achieved. (Mydramalist)

Airs: November 10th

ree

Starring: Jang Ki Yong, Ahn Eun Jin, Kim Mu Jin, Woo Da Vi

Synopsis: Kong Ji Hyeok works as the leader at a baby products company. One day, a team member, Ko Da Rim, suddenly kisses him. This places him in a difficult position because she is a married woman. Meanwhile, Ko Da Rim is a single woman who lies about her background to get hired. She now works under Kong Ji Hyeok, and her only interest is to become a permanent employee there, but she begins to have feelings for Kong Ji Hyeok. (Mydramalist)

It seems like quite a fun, silly drama, and I believe it will be a good breather after "As You Stood" and before "Taxi Driver 3".

I already saw some behind-the-scenes videos of Jang Ki Yong laughing with Ahn Eun Jin, so hopefully, it means great chemistry between them.

The screenwriter of the drama wrote "Mystic Pop-Up Bar" and "From Now On, Showtime!". Director Kim Jae Hyun worked on "One Dollar Lawyer", so I feel there will be a good balance of humour and some serious moments if there are any.

Also, the drama seems pretty relatable. With this job market, who wouldn't lie about having a husband and a child just to get a job??

Heroes Next Door

Starring: Yoon Kye Sang, Jin Seon Kyu, Kim Ji Hyun, Ko Kyu Pil, Lee Jung Ha

Synopsis: It tells the thrilling and humorous story of a reserve special forces unit that comes together not to protect the country or promote world peace but to safeguard their families and neighbourhood. (Mydramalist)

Airs: November 17th

ree

Starring: Lee Je Hoon, Kim Eui Sung, Pyo Ye Jin, Jang Hyuk Jin, Bae Yoo Ram

Synopsis: "In a society where justice has vanished, a phone call is all it takes." A private revenge drama about the veiled taxi company Rainbow Transport and taxi driver Kim Do Gi, who seeks revenge on behalf of the wronged victims. (Mydramalist)

Before this season comes out, I should do some kind of refresher to remember what happened before. However, I'm very excited to see the squad back together and curious about the new mysteries they will solve.

"Taxi Driver" also makes a very satisfying revenge story for the culprits, so I'll be happy to see that again.

There is a bit of worry: it might go downhill, become repetitive or a bit boring, but I want to believe in the director and actors.
